Mine it's a Pro, and I've searched about it in google, and I found something about it saying that M$ had a hotfix for that, 2 in fact (KB896256 and KB924441). They also suggest installing AMD drivers (I have 1.3.2.0) and also an AMD optimizer which I have downloaded and also installed. So, having done everything, I still get 1 graph in task manager.. About rFactor you're right, it only uses 1uP but I've tried RACE 07 which is a new one, and maybe performs better with Dual Cores.. haven't tested it enough yet, but I think it performs more or less the same as RACE 06 or rFactor. When I have the time, I'll probably try installing same Windows XP Pro I have actually running in a clean HDD (even it will be an IDE one), then the tunned version of an XP Pro done by someone which is supposed to optimize the performance, and will also try Vista. Vista must be installed in a Sata-II or in an IDE I won't lose so much performance.. ? Regards, SchumiBCN.

Sata 2 can send data to a theorical speed of 300MB/s, IDE 133 not more than 133MB/s...so, I'd bet a sata2 to be much more performant than a IDE one...anyway, you get those speed while copying files, and not loading the OS.

I've got them.. during the day will give them a try and will let you know the results BTW, when unistalling drivers, is enough uninstalling old ones, reboot the system and then install new ones or better running clean drivers software (or something like that) before installing new ones.. ? Anyway, I think we've gone a little OT...people over here aren't interested in the subject, as I don't see any posts by them. It's become almost a private conversation.
In case, you can send me private messages.
Cheers
