Thanks, I assumed 2007 would not be the same as any 2006 version [actually, you already made several key differences very clear] let's hope that this on the FSONE Main page
"Car will be much more rear controllable (easier + less spiny)"
will come true.

If this is a discussion with you and phil,, then take it msn or pm him. This is a forum for anyone to read.
As said before, use your aids as thats what they are there for. Advanced users dont use aids and not so experienced use aids. You can only really make it the physics to suit the laptimes of real f1. Any easier physics then the laptimes go way down for the advanced users. And the physics should always be based on times by advanced users, as they are at the top level doing same times as real and the lower skilled users have something to target thereself for.
I really dont mean to offend you here by this comment but it sounds like an arcade type game is more suited for you. I know its not my place to tell you what games to play lol but this is a race simulator where they need to make things as close to real life as possible.
Hope you dont take it the wrong way .
Thanks.

Spot on chong As for myself, I needed to use aids in the beginning, after some practise (only had rfactor for 3 weeks ) I got used to it and don't need any aids, except for TC.

If this is a discussion with you and phil,, then take it msn or pm him. This is a forum for anyone to read. this is a Physics thread for discussion .... but not a thread for you & your pals to degrade / criticize / make fun of other Forum Members.you spend 1/2 of your time criticizing me, instead of stating your opinion on the physics and moving on. I'm addressing Phil & looking for his public answers about 2007, so PMing him is out of the question.the fact that you keep telling me to use driving assists [many of which are NOT permitted Online, or were needed in several 2006 Physics versions] is relevant to Phil's claimthat 2007 will see the "Car will be much more rear controllable (easier + less spiny)"leave me alone.

OK,
We've got that you agree to disagree. Move on now.
And each can and will judge BY HIMSELF and what/how the users (the many PC gamers not the "F1 professional drivers") rate, well, is what make the success or the dying of a mod.
So, let's wait to test the new mod and then judge.

the mclaren downforce level has been fixed to make it more aerodynamically efficient to allow it to be competitive with the Ferrari which has more power. also the mclaren will now have new wing settings for front and rear to give it a more realistic feel. on the agenda now is to work on the honda aerodynamics as well as toyota.

Yes, tyres need resizing or the carshape is to small! Just my opinion, but I think you nailed it... If you check it, ISI BMW 07 is actually much bigger than FSONE, therefore, the distance between the axis looks great, and the car takes more room in the track (which, to me, feels closer to the real thing). I truely think the cars are too small... of course, that is something impossible to correct at this point...

I agree, tyres look to big, and the helmets look to big in my opinion, so I think the cars are to small...

the front tires angle is strange, isnt it? then, i dont understand why this car looks again like in 2006, i mean why the car is so poor shadowed etc......it needs more particles at the bottom and dust.......look at the ctdp cars, they look much more realistic.......your cars are a bit like coloured with pastels sorry for my opinion

Please, Prenthouse and friends, let's avoid this... Each is entitled to express his own ideas/preferences/etc (moreover MS7 did offer some good stuff to this Community). Whatever, better now just move on (and ignore, if one really can't stand another person...) and let's all enjoy peacefully this GAME. Relax
