Of course it is difficult to wait! Of course they could already release v1.0 without safety car!
But for godness please let them work so we are sure the final product will reach a very high level of quality and free of bugs...
We can still use v0.9b until v1.0 is out!
You're gonna hate me but I understand FSONE team's position and decision.

I have no problem waiting for 1.0 I just don't understand the pacecar situation. According to ISI when they released 1.250, they were done supporting rF. Now reading that on Tuesday they're releasing a pacecar. Is this a patch or, just an update for a pacecar?  |

Ok pass on our messages then. I'm in the same boat as edworld - my league has been waiting forever to start preseason testing, while rival leagues already have ctdp going with 07 skins. I say release with everything but the stupid pace car. If not there will be less people using FSone for 2007. We need at least this weekend to test.

If anyone drives sh*t enough to warrent the pace car more than a couple of times a race then thats quite sad. :-P Seriously though, its not like its a 'bug' or an issue with the physics - its a pace car - Merc, Ford, Skoda - who cares?  |

I agree whit Codex release a good 1.0 but you can release a 9.0c or 9.1 so long as you wait for the Pace Car then it want be an 1.1 and everyone would be happy!  haha |

Yeah also the spotter sounds arent ready till sunday. So that is another factor.
I guess we will see in the next couple of days.

I am going to have a word with codex, and see if we can release a 0.9c this saturday. This beta will be without the new spotter sounds, the new tv menu, and no new safety car. This way we can work on those excellent features for v1.0 and have a bit more time to make it awsome ) But in terms of physics, and talent files they will be complete. and default fia car. Yes and I have a question if you can do the wheels a little bit smaller in the 1.0 version if its possible but you answer is sounding very good then you have much time to finish your work whitout strees!

Im told from Mati Those Tires were real life scaled. They look big because of the camera views. I hope to fix this in future releases, with new cam veiws the tires look smaller.

But i hope it doesnt mean release 1.0 at the same time as RH or CTDP.
I hope you will release the final version till april because the new season in my league starts in april.

Thanks for the info Phil, keep up the good work. It seems you are stuck in the middle and can't do much about it.
As for the tires, if you move the seat all the way down and forward it does looks better. I guess other mods have tiny tires then because they definatly look bigger than other mods.
