Guys, The mirrors in the Ferrari may be realistic - but they are un-usable. I am using TrackIR so I can see them, but they are so far away and small that you can't really use them. As a solution, which I bet most Ferrari drivers use is the virtual mirros - which totally ruin the "immersion" experience, which I suspect damage this experience more than say if the mirrors were in a viewable position yet not representing the most realistic one. Have you guys even considered including a viewable mirrors perhaps as an "non-realistic" upgrade? Thanks, Itay

Yeah, the problem is the angle too, they have to be angled to the driver...i will post later how they should look like

I've done it, but it could be that because we are using a modified verision of FSONE in our league - that is the reason - I'll look into it - thanks a lot anyways!!!

ok, look in your .gen file for cockpit instance -- i'm sure it's not looking for cockpit.gmt ... just try changing the name of the file you dropped in to match your .gen file

no problemo .. glad to help ..... i know you would have done the same ..... you've got a great track record of that if you want them moved [the mirrors] forward, back or more inward / outward, let me know ..... i tried to make them usable from cockpit view without making them "cartoon-like" unrealistic

About "....have a cockpit.gmt with usuable mirrors..."
Thanks for sharing your talent and knowledge, MS7, but could you PLEASE explain in a very simple step-by-step way - by posting a cut-and-past gmt section or kindly post link to a gmt - on how to have those GREAT Ferrari mirrows while in cockpit BUT...without the view from inside the helmet which can be quite annoying for many of us....
(Myself, I always drive in cockpit view but like to have full view of the scenary and use it as driving reference also).
THANK YOU A LOT (grazie mille) for your clear guidance.

Iluco - the files MS7 provided do not include the helmet visor view - so if you follow his instructions all you will get is the mirrors solution.
