Iluco - the files MS7 provided do not include the helmet visor view - so if you follow his instructions all you will get is the mirrors solution. correct, the "Helmet Cam" is not "the Ferrari Mirrors"

did you drop all files into the ferrari folder
do you have a file named 2007_visor in there ?
if you drive a Ferrari, use the Ferrari_2007_Visor.tga instead [renamed to 2007_Visor.tga]

you have 2 files in that folder
Helm.gmt 2007_Visor.tga
try moving 2007_Visor.tga to the main vehicles folder

MS7,
I tried your mirrows this weekend and for me it's simply a GREAT addon for more immersion and more driving pleasure. THANK YOU A LOT !!!
By the way, you also said : ..."if you want them moved [the mirrors] forward, back or more inward / outward, let me know". I'd rather not mess up as I'm not sure which file & line to edit, so can you pls tell us WHICH FILE AND LINE to change in the Ferrari folder so to have both mirrows just looking a bit more INward (that is, a bit more looking toward the end tail of my car) as I need it to better see incoming cars (...not buildings/scenary.).
Thanks also IROUSSO for having helped explaining, and to you again, MS7, for that simple but great tool, and be sure I'll pay attention to advise you'll keep offering to this community...

Thanks to come in for help, Mschumi and MS7. Ok, it's difficult to explain but the mirrows you (=MS7) did - which is, I repeat, a GREAT addon - reflect, on my driving setup, too much the wideer, outward angle, I mean they point too much away from the rear wheels' area. My setup in cockpit implies driving rather close to the wheel and as high as possible... (a sort of compromise between close-to-wheel cockpit view and "some" height, style TVcockpit ) However, I do believe that a number of drivers here would like to try such different combination / mirrows angle as I mentioned, to get different options for better in-cockpit visual control along those lines. Sorry, can't explain better as I understand nothing abour 3D modelling and the like, and don't even know "how-to" about screenshots....in fact, I "only" know how to drive and have fun (work, family and need to sleep permitting...) with such GREAT car racing simulation..... ;D So, to cut it short, thank you very much MS7, mschumi - and all of you having the required tech skills - to PLEASE try to post some mirrows' setup along those lines that we all (= non-experts) can easily install and try (and, why not, different mirrows options as done successfully for different car setups which are posted for the same circuit !!!). I'm sure that this will make the quality/offer/success of this mod better and better.... Cheers and thks again for your time

well, apart from me, the best thing would be to choose another ferrari, cuz this vers of it it looks kinda bad....dunno about you, but it looks ugly from the t-cam and cockpit view....hopefully the 07 one will be better , if not, CTDP is using enzojz's ferrari from gp4 wich is very cooool, so theres ctdp 06 over fsone 06 if i want to play a good ferrari

Cheers and thks again for your time it's not something you can change in the game, the 3D cockpit shape must be altered. give me your cockpit seat position numbers

MD7, Cockpit seat position is now: -62/54 but this is because I do want to use your rear mirrows... in fact, the preferred Cockpit seat position should ideally be: -15/70 so, it should be close and high, but then the rear mirrows' view is bad. Of course, I do NOT need to see the whole horizontal size of both mirrows while in cockpit, half size would still be OK but then both mirrows need to be more inclined toward the rear of the car (to better see incoming cars...). I hope I was not too unclear... Thanks anyway for whatever you can do.
