I noticed it on tracks with a long strait, like Indy Monza and even Bahrain. For some reason the AI do not go above 180mph? I am doing 208 in Monza and catching them hand over fist on the strait. Almost as if they are running a Monaco type setup. The AI skill is set to 98%. Will setting it to 100% make them gain 28mph on the strait?
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks guys!

Cause of so many physics updates, the AI physics are set for back in v1.1 or something.
Its been so long, we need to work on the AI. They are beign reworked for 07, as 07 will not have betas. We will get it right the first time.
Everything is carefully Set to match real F1 Technical.

If you give them your setup, they will reach your same speed and if you fix their talent files (composure 99, skill 99, speed 100-80) you will enjoy a LOT more this game in single player

Phil You guys make an awesome game, I only wish I knew how to code, or render better, I would love to help. Using 3DS to make buildings is no where need as hard as what you do]

In your PLR file (rFactor\UserData\Sniff\Sniff.PLR -> change Sniff for your nick):
Fixed Setups="1" // use fixed setups specified in UserData\<plr>\FavoriteAndFixedSetups.gal (based on track and vehicle class) Fixed AI Setups="1" // whether AI use the fixed setups, only applicable if "Fixed Setups" is also enabled (and can be used in single player to have the AIs use your favorite setup)
Then go to a circuit folder (example: rFactor\GameData\Locations\F1\FujiGP), open the gdb file (FujiGP.gdb), and find: SettingsFolder = FujiGP SettingsAI = FujiGP.svm
Now in rFactor make a setup with very low top speed (to test if AI really got our setup), save it with same name as in gdb file "FujiGP" and assign it as default setup (this is important). Then skip session or restart weekend/race and AI will have your same setup:)
Greetings

They still do not go above 180mph ?? Im very confused

After all you've done, start a race weekend. Assign your setup as you default setup and then try...it should work now.

you could put the AI at 110%. It works great.
