When my car is behind other AI car, I noticed that I lose a lot of grip in medium/fast corners to the point I sometimes end in the grass/sand; sniffsniff!. Is this true or am I dreaming it? If true, is it measurable? For example, it is like losing 4steps in front/rear wings. Greetings.

Greetings. what you're doing is drafting, which is a technique used in all racing. it allows the car thats behind gain more speed because it has no drag sicne the car infront is pushing the air out of the way. the downside is you lose downforce because the air isnt pushing your car down, so comming out of a draft into a corner you get alot of understeer.
