Hi.
Anyone mess with the increament and decreament boost while driving? During qualifying and race day?
A hardcore way as similar as adjusting brake bias during racing.

I did the last time I raced in my league, but it wasn't with any fsone mod lol was way back last year like January I think. But I'd not do it anymore, I'd just set it to say 6 and leave it lol

Some say if use 10...will have engine problems.

Boost in FSOne 06 is just a rev limiter. Set it to 10 for best pace.

Yea? Sure I got it to 10 myself but that's coz i edited my engine file for no blow ups and a cool engine lol, so I thought that it was the usual case with too high a setting and bang, and I am using v1.3 fsone as well, since with my edited files, thats the best option for me lol. So if 10 is no problem then great for raikkonen

If you do short 10-15 laps races, you may get away with high boost. In 45 lap races I have boost set at 3 and rad at 4, I use the stickshift on my Momo to increment and decrease in race, usually to 4 or 5 but for very short periods, last few laps you can use 10 for short bursts on straights if it's a close call for podium. Try lapping at 10 and see how long it takes to burn an engine.

Hehe that's one of the advantages of offline gaming, I can edit anything for myself lol And well between 9 and 10 is like 1% more strain on the engine with 10 over 9? Or is it 10%? haha

Each increase should be about 100rpm more over the stock rev limit.
It may be more with FSONE, MMG is 50rpm per setting iirc but the stock limit is 18500 and obviously we had the 19000rpm rev limits this time so we used increments of 50rpm.
