Yeh ive managed to open up a few gp4 cars in 3dmax by converting to WLR file.
I know in gp4 the models live in the .gp4 files, where do the actual car models live in rfactor? .veh file or?

GMT files. And the name of the GMT files are defined in the gen file.

you need to save the front wing files as one shape FRONT_WING_A
REAR_WING_A left bargeboard = LB_BOARD_A RB_BOARD_A TCAM car body = BODY_A
then, they need to be 'aligned'

you can "select" the tcam in zmod and "delete" the rest, then save as TCAM.GMT

I converted the F2007(Gp4) to rFactor Everything works fine but after i've reseted the axes in zModeler 2 the shadows are much to dark in T-cam view it looks not so bad , but in 3-D the shadow parts are dark black I have tried to figure this thing out by myself since 3 weeks now , but i ain't get it I read every post in this forum , and there were good tips "align",... i tried it , bad result Thank's for your help

I was trying to save a car part in zmodeler 2 as a GMT and got this error: Missing downgrade for L2-shader "L0CMapT0" in material "Textured Material: WHITE". file:materials.cpp line:696
What should I do?
