Hmm zmodeler, i belive that 3ds max 8 is a better tool than zmodeler, i use it and its easyer and better, but yeah, it costs bucks hehe

I belive with 6 there are gmt plugins, and the isi tools work with 3ds max 5-6-7-8, (doesn't work with 9) and 6 is pretty good too hehe

good to know, bad thing is I had just started learning some stuff in zmod and now I change to another program, is 3ds max a hard to understand program?

3dmax is alot harder then zmodeler i would say, its more advanced and you can do alot more things with it. Even the basics in 3dmax will get your scratching your head at first lol

Well, i have some exp with 3ds max, i still scratch my head when it comes to some things, like advanced animations, but on modeling and such, i know my way around hehe....but there are loads of tutorials out there, video, with pictures, alot

i use 90% 3D Max studio and 10% 3DSimEd What things do you do with 3dsimed codex? Is it something that can't be done with 3dsmax or is harder with 3dsmax? Very soon get my 3dsmax and can start my long and painly learning.

with 3dsim ed you can convert from rfactor and so, and other stuff, the main modeling takes place in 3dsmax, maybe he maps with 3dsimed....but 3dsmax is easyer

Don't think so xrace you need to learn how to use 3DMax if you want to convert cars.
