Well for all you modders out there I thought it would be nice whit a GP4 Converter Tutorial TextureYou need a program called TexResizer then download a car model or something from GP4 and extract the Tex. files whit TexResizer to tga. then take the tga file and put it to Photoshop and you will see the texture upside down just do it so you can see it normaly (not upside down) and you do the same thing whit the Alpha Layer then save it like a tga file and download a program call DDS Converter 2.0 and convert the tga. file to DDS file and put to FSONE Car Skin folder and you Done! In GP4 you can find everything from Helmets to Cars Skin... Here are a good site you can download stuff from: www.grandprixgames.org/list.php?4Remember to Release your work you need a permission from the auther otherwise its Illegal!CarsZmodeler3DSimEdPlease just add here how to convert Cars and all stuff you can just share it whit us

I would like to know how to convert the actual .lods to rfactor How do you take 2 .lods from a GP4 car and convert it into loads of .GMT files? Or do you even need loads of gmt files. will 2 lods(gmts) work in rfactor if they are named properly and you change the .GEN file so you dont get any missing textures error? Nice tutorial. Ps: recently installed gp4 for first time ever, game is so good lol One question tho, why is gp4 moders so quick at making there cars where rfactor seems to take forever. 07 cars have been out for ages in gp4. Is it a more complicated procedure in rfactor?

The GP4 2007 cars are mostly modified from last year ones. That's why they're so quick.

Gp4 community is also bigger than rFactor community, and they release single cars. Anyway, these can be useful to converting if you understand those, I don't... thepits.us/board/viewtopic.php?t=1006
