Hey there, question to the modders out there. Ive always wanted to get into modeling as i have all the programs and always been interested in it. Ive tried following a few tutorials but most of them usually miss out the basic first steps. Have you all learned this by school/college/university etc? or have you taught yourself how to do it. Basically i know how the gmts/textures all work and i can open up say for instance fsone models in zmodeler and play about with things. But i want to know whats the steps for scratch building. Is there alot involved in it? Also, do you build the whole car then add the textures at the end? And do you build the car in seperate parts or a whole mesh then split it up into parts so you can add textures? Cheers for any help. really would like to get into this as ive alot of time on my hands to do these things
