Hey guys,
I was wondering if it is possible, and if so..how, you can change files like helmet shape from one mod to another. Some mods have beautifull shapes others don't...
Can someone help me with this? It's for personal use btw

Easy you need the Mas. Extractor Program (find it on http://www.rfactor.net) take a Mas. file in Vechicle Dir and extract the helmet then take the helmet rename it to the same name as the other and then use 3DSimEd and open it save it as rFactor .GMT and the Add Model, Add to Mas - and then select "Lite at Night" and "Local Axis" and save it to that Mas file that you want the helmet (but in some mods you will need to Move the helmet to the right position you do that in the Edit - Translete model window) then you need to take the helmets skins from Vechcle dir and put it in the other Vechcle Dir where you want to use it but remember the names must be the same other that the last Extra number must still remeain like BMW_SauberExtra1 then you put in the new one McLaren_MercedesExtra1 you always keep the last Extra number if you don't change that in 3DSimEd. Done! Hope you understand it

Well, i have been trying and trying, but every it goes wrong.....grrrr. ;-) And I would really like to be able to change helmet shapes to mods..
I cannot create a MAS file that doesn't 'crash' . The temp car in rFactor is doing it's job just fine the last couple of weeks.
Error masfile WC helmet???
