Yo, Im trying to change the size of the tyres in zmodeler, i reduced them all and exported as there proper GMT filenames. RF_TYRE_A etc. When i put the mas file back together i get a error when loading car ingame. Error loading tread_b_ Global error TREADA I just got zmodeler tonight so im very nooby at it Is there any advise you could give me on how to reduce them? Do i need to reduce all 5 files for each tyre? Thanks for any help.

Really dont get it, im loading all gmts with all textures and im getting NO errors saying "file missing" when importing. I resize tyres then export all gmts. Then re-pack it into .mas file. Still ends up with TREAD error. The TREADA texture is loading in zmodeler2 fine so its not missing . Is there something im missing here, or should resizing a tyre be more complicated then what im doing?

Just copy the following files "TREAD_B_00, TREAD_S_00, TREAD00, BS_SIDE_00, BS_SIDE_B_00, BS_SIDE_S_00 and all BBS_XXX00" if i forgot any... all files that contain "00" and rename the files copy deleting the "00" from them, example "TREAD_S_00.DDS to TREAD_S_.DDS, TREAD00.DDS to TREAD.DDS" and so on and you wont get GMT error anymore. Hope that helps!

Ahh,, thank you very much for your help. Will give it a go straight away You know anything about car converting aswell you could share with us? Got a few F1C and GP4 cars i would love to convert for personal use. But i dont know how it works as for example the F1C car only has 4 .mts files. I import as a .3ds file but how to i split up all parts so its in rfactor format. Thanks again m8

No problem... ;D Hmmm, never tried... but i will soon get 3ds 8 for such purpose becouse i always get weird errors with Zmodeler2 LoL, i also tried to resize Fstyres and figured about Textures names and in the end i got another error in the game like the rims all messed... as it was needing new UVMAPS, but i was too lazy for it LOL, so i left it for when i get 3ds. I think that wont be hard for us to figure out how to convert tho... i will let you know if i get any progress with it.
Regards!

Another thing, if i wanted to import a car from F1C is it not only a matter of converting the .mts files to .gmt and thats it? Do you need to have as many files/bodynames or can you just have 1 .gmt for car and a few .gmts for the wheels (since they move) ? For example a car in F1C ive got is only 4.mts files but fsone cars consist of about 20. Is it, the more models/parts you have the more that fall of in a crash or? cheers for help
