hi
I use a logitech momo steering wheel and it has only 8 buttons to use. Now i need more buttons, and i dont want to use keyboard for that (its for looking right/left/ and that sort of things)
Does someone know if its possible to use a steeringwheel combined with a gamepad in rfactor? I want to use the gamepad for the extra buttons i need. Or can someone who has gamepad and steering wheel try it out for me?
thanks

elmertje, u can use the Logitech Profiler.. this application comes with the driver.. so, create an game profile, select rFactor .EXE and select one button to work as a "shift" button. later, u can add "New keystrokes" to every button in ur steering wheel. so, when u press and hold ur Shift + Other button, this will work like and second function, so, u can get 2 functions per button, except by the Shift button (this cant get more then "shift" function). to clarify the things, here is my profile.. u can open it in Logitech Profiler > Import. rapidshare.com/files/65052371/rFactor.wgp.htmlthis may shows confuse, i and get a bit lost when i tried to make these buttons to work, but now i know how it works =D This technique should work with every logitech steering wheel that uses the "Profiler Software" by the way, works like a charm..
