As the title says, did anyone of you played a decent formula one game on conslole? i mean from 2004 at least till now on ps2 and ps3! Would you want that after this year, after FIA's contract with sony expires, to renew it and make more console games? Are the games good, or you want another grand prix game (gp5) or a game with good engine, like rfactor engine, but with the current formula one rules, and easy to mod the game? I personally don't want that sony to do another game, but i still play f105 and 06 on my ps2, but still.... PS.:I know that some of you don't really look into other threads than fsone2006 and fsone2007, but if someone watches this, post your feedback. edit: my 100th post ;D

congrats with your 100th post hehe. Yeah i have played F1 '05. Was a good game, i enjoyed it, but they release the game way too early. Any changes inside the sport, is still stucked in the game so you get bummed because it's not quite the same anymore. Also graphical wise i'm satisfied with it. It drives well, it feels ok, but compared to FSOne on PC, F1 '05 is more for chilling out and FSOne does give you the feeling that you're more 'in it'.
In overall, i like the games but if Sony should do another one? hmmm I don't know =)

Yeah, i play f105 even now, to bad is sooo easy, but that's that. Anyway, i played the ps3 f106 vers too, and it's rubbish, the grafix are quite good, the cokpit view is great and the rain effects, but the psyhics are crap, i can't belive how bad those psyhics are!!! And it's not like we saw in the first trailer, with the tyre damage and all of that, wheels fly off like in the early 90's, and no where near tire damage, and race preparations, and safery car, and complete 3d public. The game it's quite crap, for formula 1 diehard fans... Hopefully, this year the game will be better!!!! till then, will kill my momo on colin mcrae dirt

Well I guess those games are to interest a wide range of clientel, so its pretty close to arcade games like need for speed. that even a 7 year old can play without practicing for hours. its just to make money realy. in our case its something else, we are pretty involve with that sport, so we want perfection, and close to perfect we got!! tack heaven for poeple like you in my life, to make it possible for me to play realy F1 game.

Yeah, i would like to se a pc game in the future, but who? Ea is going to make the game only for money, they don't really care of the quality of the game, infogrames didn't heard about them, so who is the question. I would like to see sim-bim or even codemasters, but if the licence is going to a all platfor developer, than i'm about 98% sure that is going to be EA, so i think the game is going to be crap....but let's hope it won't be, if there is going to be any release for pc
