If you want an upgradable laptop wait for the Asus C90 coming out this year. It's billed as a desktop replacement and everything is 100% replaceable. So if a new GFX card comes available and you fancy an upgrade, you can swap it in.
I don't know what the retail will be for a "standard" unit (haven't seen a spec list yet but I'd say 2.0ghz DC, 1gb RAM, 120gb HD, nV 8500M) will probably be about 950 euros. Laptop parts are expensive though so if you want a serious laptop it will cost you 2000 euros, probably more.
Personally I'd either wait for the C90 or buy a full blown gaming PC.
Quad cores are dropping prices like mad atm, go for the Q6600 "energy efficient" chip, there is very little drawback that I can see, they OC like mad because they use less power and they run pretty cool too, so with a decent cooler (look at the scythe ninja cooler if you are going to OC) temps will not be an issue.
REMEMBER though, the 8800GTX is a HUGE card, I have a full blown Lian Li gaming case and the drive caddy is 3mm off the end of the graphics card, it's fortunate the caddy slides out or I'd have been screwed.

-no bluetooth -no wirelles network you are wrong, you can plug it into your PC. PC is much cheaper then Laptop and it always will be. you have to ask yourself one question. "i want to play or not" If yes then nevermind Laptop.

It's not quite that simple, laptops are vastly improved over where they were a few years ago because the C2D processors are just brilliant. That's what happens when you take a step back to architecture that worked brilliantly first time round.
The 8600M is a good 3d chip, if you can find a laptop with an 8700M or 8800M (8800Ms = stupid money though) then you have a laptop that can keep up with a desktop through most things. It's only when you get to games like Crysis that the laptop will suffer, but you only need a 15.4" widescreen to really get the best out of laptop hardware. Having high resolution screens on them is imo, a waste of time because the whole point of a laptop is portability versus usability.
I know little about the quadro chips, but I should think you'll really want a 540M as iirc, the 320M is the equivalent of an 8500M, which is not a particularly good chip tbh.

I have both. Laptop I usually do all the homework and browse the net. Its more delicate though. My old laptop suffered from Overheating and as result I threw it away as some other stuff got damaged so wasn't worth paying 200 pounds just to fix it. So I got new one. But I only use it to do my homework and browse the net. For games I am not sure if I would recomend it . I prefer desktop computers. Its better in all aspects Orges.

I totally agree with lukasz: If you want to do a lot of gaming --> get a PC The laptop is more expensive, parts are more difficult to upgrade and what is the mobility of a laptop worth when you're into racing? You'd need to carry your wheel around as well, wouldn't you? And even if you don't race but want to play a shooter or something - the keyboard on a laptop won't serve you as well as a conventional one will, not to mention a special gaming keyboard...

Computer wins laptop easily. Why? Because of these (my comp specs): AMD Athlon X2 5800+ Processor (2,8 gHz) - Runs rFactor perfectly ATI Radeon X1950 GT 512mb - Increases graphics a lot 4gb of RAM memory - Gives computer more memory to run bigger games So as hartigdom said, laptop is more difficult to upgrade than normal PC. So BUY PC!

This moment is critical in terms of LAPTOP development.
New processors with 8-Cores are coming out... and people are still dobtful about the new Win VISTA !!!
Then, recently, ATI & nVidia began a new generation of video chipsets....
According to me, if you want a laptop and you even want to play games, you should wait at least one more year !!!
